Dr. Vijaykumar Rao is a board-certified nephrologist in South Holland, Illinois. He received his medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College in Poona, India, and completed his residency at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. He then completed a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Chicago. Dr. Rao has been in practice for over 40 years and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Nephrology at Rush Medical College and an adjunct professor in the Department of Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Rao is a highly skilled and experienced nephrologist who provides comprehensive care to patients with kidney diseases. He is committed to providing his patients with the best possible care and helping them to manage their condition. Dr. Rao is also a dedicated educator and researcher.
